JULIA iSABEL
Julia iSABEL is a contemporary artist, educator, and founder of Studio 9 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and she is an active member of Frieze, Guggenheim Young Collectors Council (YCC), NADA, and NAWA.
As both an exhibiting artist and a mother of three, Julia created this small-group museum immersion program to give young people direct access to the cultural world beyond the classroom. Through visits to museums, galleries, artist studios, and cultural institutions, students gain insight into how art is created, presented, collected, and discussed.
Students learn not only to look at art, but to think critically, ask questions, and engage confidently with the world around them.
