About the event
You are warmly invited to an Open Studio with multidisciplinary artist Julia iSABEL—an opportunity to step inside the artist’s working environment and explore both her foundational activist works and her most recent artistic developments.
This presentation brings together selected pieces from her early activist period—works addressing women’s empowerment, environmental responsibility, and social justice—alongside new paintings and works on paper, including recent compositions from The Image of a Sound series. Seen together, these works trace the evolution of iSABEL’s artistic and conceptual language, shaped by gesture, color psychology, somatic movement, and sound–image translation.
Throughout the event, the artist will be available for conversation, offering insight into her process, material experimentation, and ongoing research at the intersection of sound, emotion, and embodied mark-making.
